Student Interviews

I would like to learn more about cryptography, which is necessary for the secure exchange of information on networks.

Through the ISMS lectures, my interest in information security has increased

I am a SE who delivers systems for public sectors, and information security is a major challenge in my work. I came here because this is the graduate school that specialises in such topics. Lectures on ISMS and other topics have made me realise how information security is a growing concern in each company. Recently, keywords such as "ISO 27000" have been readily visible to me in the newspapers, and my own awareness has been changing.

Research into the use of cryptography, which has a wide range of applications including personal authentication and information confidentiality

As my field of study at university was not computer science, I lacked knowledge of software development and internet infrastructure. IISEC provides many of these technical lectures, so I think it is a good opportunity for me to learn what I need in an efficient way. My research topic will be the protection of personal data in the ITS field. I would like to apply the authentication and confidentiality functions of cryptography, which I learned at IISEC, to the ITS field.

Strengthening the security of the systems we deliver to our customers, as well as the security of my company

What I have learned at IISEC will be useful for improving the security of the systems we deliver to our customers, as well as my company's own information security management. I became one of the information security officers in my company from April this year, so I want to acquire the knowledge and skills appropriate for such a position.
