Student Interviews

The "Information" subject in high school is still in its infancy. I would like to use the systematic knowledge of information security to deepen my students' understanding of the subject.

Corporate information management for school management

Perhaps it is because I studied informatics and mathematics at university, when the "information" subject was placed in schools, I have become in charge of teaching it. I have been teaching this subject for five years now, and I am still struggling to find the right way to teach. In addition, with the increasing use of computers in school work, the school's information management system needs to be improved. For this reason, I enrolled in IISEC, which has a strong practical background. I would like to study information security systematically, with particular reference to corporate security management.

Understand the current situation of companies at the graduate school with many working professionals

IISEC is practical in terms of the content of the classes and the teachers' talks. Many of the current students are also working professionals, so I feel it is a good environment to learn more about companies. I'm also particularly keen to talk to people in their 20s and see what they think about high school students today (laughs). Also, being in the position of a student for the first time in a long time, gave me a lot of tips for my own teaching.

Information education is not possible without knowledge of law

Initially, I thought I would research ISMS. However, after taking the classes, I realised that understanding of laws such as "Internet and Copyright" is also important for information education for high school students. Now I'm also interested in research to rewrite "information" textbooks based on real needs.
