Exploring how information security can be used effectively in corporate management, including cost-effectiveness and evaluation of public opinion.

To help you resolve any questions or issues you may have in your daily work

Working in the department responsible for the information security of the entire corporate group, I am in charge of checking and consulting on the information management system of the company and its group companies as well. In order to resolve the questions and problems I find there, I enrolled in this graduate school. I am particularly interested in researching the relationship between information security and corporate management, such as "consideration of cost-effectiveness" and "social assessment of information security measures".

Studying law, IT, economics, and reviewing my experience systematically

At DNP, in addition to personal information, we are handling a rapidly increasing amount of information based on confidentiality agreements between companies. The information security requirements that my department has to deal with are becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex. In this sense, it is reassuring to have a broad curriculum that offers practical training in areas such as law, cryptography and IT, as well as economics, statistics and psychology. I intend to use this time as an opportunity to systematically organise and recapitulate my experiences to date.

Interaction with faculty members and fellow students who have a lot of contact with society

The IISEC faculty members are experts in their fields and many of them have practical experience in companies. It is also a great advantage that 80% of the students are working professionals, so I can hear directly from them about different industries. During this two-year course, I hope to develop diverse perspectives, information gathering skills and effective communication skills.
