In order to achieve information security, I use the "structuring method" to find out the specific challenges of the organisation.

The wide range of knowledge I have gained during the course of my research is also useful in my work

As I am involved in all aspects of security management within my company, I am also researching information security management at IISEC. I also studied a wide range of subjects including cryptography and other technical aspects. I think that the various knowledge I gained from these lectures and in the course of my research will be very useful for my security-related work in the future.

Identifying problems in the operation of the Personal Information Protection Law

My research theme is to apply the method of structural analysis to problems from the organisational hierarchy and the execution process of "Plan→Do→Check→Act" to information security. For example, in the operation of the Personal Information Protection Law, it seems to have been preceded by stereotypical measures and overreactions in some cases. Instead of analysing "what kind of information and how does the organisation handle?" This results in increased costs for the measures and a lack of user-friendliness. I hope that my research will provide a useful perspective on the current situation, in order to implement appropriate security measures to meet the challenges of each organisation.

Six months of intensive study, allowing me to spend more time preparing for my research

In my case, I wanted to focus on my research in the second half of the year, so I decided to take a lot of modules in the first six months to get enough credits. Learning a wide range of subjects helped me to explore my own interests, especially as I didn't have a specific research theme at the beginning.
