enPiT-Security(SecCap)

Cross-cutting Practical Information Education Collaboration Network

The enPiT programme was adopted as a "Practical Education Network Project for Information Technology Human Resource Development" in 2012 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports , Science and Technology. This project was launched in 2013 to gather experts from 15 graduate schools and companies that are specialised in the following four fields: cloud computing, cyber-security, embedded systems, and business applications.
enPiT for cyber-security (enPiT-Security) offers a practical cyber-security professional training course (SecCap) in collaboration with five universities (IISEC, Tohoku University, JAIST, NAIST and Keio University). The programme aims at training "IT personnel with practical cyber-security skills" required in a wide range of industries. In a cutting-edge training environment, students can experience how to cope with cyber-security threats and incidents through various exercises in cryptography, systems, networks, auditing, and management, as well as real-world incident analysis and security implementation exercises.
